The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons routed the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Hoopeston was routed by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 9-6, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Bloomington Central Catholic for a Illini Prairie battle on Friday, April 1.
