In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Midwest Central/Illini Central Raiders (Manito, IL), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Illinois Valley Central moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Grey Ghosts host Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to play the Panthers in a Illini Prairie contest on Saturday, April 2. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 1-5.
