Ohio High School Softball - Monroeville bounces St. Joseph Central Catholic

March 29, 2022: Monroeville, OH 44847

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) and the visiting St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH), saw Monroeville's softball squad nip St. Joseph Central Catholic by a count of 6-0.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Black River for a non-league match on Thursday, March 31. Monroeville will face a Pirates squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, St. Joseph Central Catholic falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Crimson streaks travel to Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH) to face the Chieftains in a Sandusky Bay - River match on Wednesday, March 30. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 1-0.
