The Morris Redskins softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Rison Wildcats to 0 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Morris improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Redskins host Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 30. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a record of 1-0. Joliet Catholic won 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) in a 3A-7 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Rison will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
