Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) and the host Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), saw Ryle's baseball squad knock off Covington Catholic by a count of 5-2.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 30. Ryle will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Fighting Crusaders enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 5-3 league win over La Salle (Cincinnati, OH).
