The Crystal Lake South Gators the host Mayfield Wildcats baseball team by a count of 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Gators now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kenston for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 30. Crystal Lake South will face a Bombers team coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Wildcats face the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a Western Reserve bout, on Monday, April 3. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
