The Fort Payne Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting North Sand Mountain Bison to 3 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the 6A Area 13 match with a 16-4 record.
The Bison (13-5) will now prepare for their match against Douglas (Douglas, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Douglas was overwhelmed by Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL), 10-3, in a non-league match.
