The Frankfort Redbirds baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Waltonville Spartans to 1 in the Redbirds non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Redbirds (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio match with a 5-1 record.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Nashville (Nashville, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Nashville gained a win over Carlyle (Carlyle, IL), 14-0, in a non-league match.
