The Frederick Gunn Highlanders baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Trinity-Pawling School Pride to 4 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA). The Titans go into the Western New England match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Wilbraham & Monson Academy edged Springfield Commonwealth Academy (Springfield, MA), 14-3, in a non-league match.
The Pride (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Crimson Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
