North Carolina High School Baseball - Freedom loses to R-S Central

The R-S Central Hilltoppers crushed the host Freedom Patriots baseball team by a tally of 14-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A bout on Thursday, March 30. R-S Central will face a Bearcats team coming off a 5-4 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the Patriots face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A bout, on Thursday, March 30. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 10-3 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC).
