The Monroe Hornets crushed the visiting Talawanda Brave baseball team by a count of 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pelion for a non-league bout on Monday, April 3. Monroe will face a Panthers team coming off a 11-4 league loss to Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Brave face the Hamilton Big Blue (Hamilton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 30. Talawanda will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
