The Riverside Warriors baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Nitro Wildcats to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Flying Eagles go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Woodrow Wilson gained a win over Independence (Coal City, WV), 5-3, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians go into the Cardinal match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Sissonville was overwhelmed by Poca (Poca, WV), 10-6, in a league match.
