The Sandwich Indians crushed the visiting Richmond-Burton Rockets baseball team by a tally of 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Indians now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morris for a Interstate Eight bout on Monday, April 3. Sandwich will face a Redskins team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 5-2.
Next, the Rockets face the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Monday, April 3. Richmond-Burton will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Thunder enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL).
