North Carolina High School Baseball - Shelby can't hold off West Lincoln

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host West Lincoln Rebels baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Shelby Golden Lions.
The Rebels (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans go into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Bandys tipped Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 8-1, in a league game.
The Golden Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons go into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Thomas Jefferson was edged by Shelby (Shelby, NC), 14-1, in a league game.
