The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD) and the visiting Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV), saw Goretti's lacrosse team nudge Spring Mills by a margin of 13-12.
The Gael (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockingham (Weyers Cave, VA). The MudDogs enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Rockingham edged Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans enter the WVSLA -DI East challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Morgantown edged Capital (Charleston, WV), 19-3, in a non-league challenge.
