The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ) and the visiting Red Rock Scorpions (Sedona, AZ), saw Anthem Prep's softball squad achieve victory over Red Rock by a count of 19-9.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Pasqual Valley for a 1A West match on Friday, March 31.

With the loss, Red Rock falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Scorpions host St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ) to face the Redskins in a non-league match on Thursday, March 30. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 6-5. St. Johns won 19-4 in their recent league match against Greyhills Academy (Tuba City, AZ)
