The Chaparral Cowboys the host Clark Chargers softball squad by a count of 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Cowboys (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies go into the 4A Desert battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Spring Valley was routed by Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV), 9-2, in a league battle.

The Chargers now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Desert Pines for a non-league battle on Friday, March 31. Clark will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-7.
