The Illini West Chargers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats to 7 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Illini West improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Chargers travel to Hamilton (West Hancock, IL) to clash with the Titans in a West Central game on Thursday, March 30. The Titans come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Havana Ducks (Havana, IL) in a Prairieland game, on Thursday, March 30. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Ducks come into the game with a 5-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Beardstown (Beardstown, IL).
