The Houston Christian Mustangs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lutheran South Academy Pioneers to 2 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Houston Christian improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Kinkaid (Houston, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a Southwest Prep - South game on Thursday, April 6. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 3-12. Kinkaid lost 13-11 in their recent non-league game against Cypress Christian (Houston, TX)

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs (Beaumont, TX) in a TAPPS Division I District 4 game, on Friday, March 31. Lutheran South Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (Houston, TX).
