Rhode Island High School Softball - La Salle Academy bounces Ponaganset

La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pilgrim for a Division 1B (State) challenge on Friday, March 31.
With the loss, Ponaganset falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to face the Lions in a Division 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
