Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 17-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Point for a 6A West Valley challenge on Friday, March 31. Shadow Ridge will face a Dragons squad coming off a 17-7 league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Pioneers in a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Friday, March 31. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Pinnacle won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ)
