North Carolina High School Softball - Union Academy Marvin Ridge

The Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) softball the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 10-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, South Stanly held off Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 16-0, in a league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a Southern Carolina 4A bout on Friday, March 31. Marvin Ridge will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
