Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mohawk Area bounces Union Area

March 29, 2023: Bessemer, PA 16112

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) and the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), witnessed Mohawk Area's softball squad tip Union Area by a count of 12-7.

The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ellwood City for a WPIAL 3A 2 match on Wednesday, April 5.

With the loss, Union Area moves to 0-1 on the season. The Scotties travel to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA) to meet the Cougars in a WPIAL 1A 1 match on Thursday, March 30. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 0-0.
