With the triumph, Morehead moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC) to play the Wolfpack in a Mid-State 2A contest on Thursday, March 30. The Wolfpack come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Walkertown won 13-5 in their recent non-league contest against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)

In their next game, the Cowboys play the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A contest, on Friday, March 31. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 9-6 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
