California High School Softball - University Prep gets by San Gorgonio

March 29, 2023: Victorville, CA 92392

The University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) softball nipped the visiting San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA), 16-15 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Silver Knights go into the Cross Valley bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Riverside Prep was edged by University Prep (Victorville, CA), 9-6, in a league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Colton for a San Andreas bout on Friday, March 31. San Gorgonio will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.
