Tennessee High School Baseball - South Greene loses to Cherokee

The Cherokee Chiefs baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host South Greene Rebels to 2 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Friday.
The Chiefs (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Gate City notched a victory over Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, South Greene falls to 6-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Washburn (Washburn, TN) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Washburn lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN)
