In Friday's league game, the visiting Gunnison Cowboys baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Olathe Pirates.
The Cowboys (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Mean Moose go into the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Alamosa ran past Trinidad (Trinidad, CO), 10-6, in a non-league game.
The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Grand Valley was overwhelmed by Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO), 19-1, in a non-league game.
