The West Middlesex Big Reds baseball team (West Middlesex, PA), 8-5 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA)

The Spartans now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northgate for a WPIAL 2A 2 outing on Tuesday, April 2.

Next, the Big Reds face the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 outing, on Wednesday, April 3. West Middlesex will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
