Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Twin Peaks Charter Academy Timberwolves (Longmont, CO), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Campion Academy Cougars (Loveland, CO) in a 2A Metro Hills West challenge, on Monday, April 1. Gilpin County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Timberwolves now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5.
