The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Nash Central Bulldogs to 6 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Friday.

The Yellowjackets (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Southern Nash was overwhelmed by North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 14-5, in a non-league match.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Louisburg gained a win over Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 16-6, in a non-league match.
