In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Dove Science Academy soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Alva Goldbugs.

The (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A District 2 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Kingfisher was overwhelmed by Yukon (Yukon, OK), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Goldbugs battle the Classen SAS Comets (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 3A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Alva will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 4-1 league win over Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK).
