The Centerville Elks softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Jefferson County Patriots to 0 in the Elks non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Centerville improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Elks host Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, March 30. The Broncos come into the game with a record of 4-1. Western Brown lost 12-4 in their recent non-league game against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 1. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Greene Devils come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 12-1 non-league win over West Greene (Mosheim, TN).
