Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderhawks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Granville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Lakota East will battle a Blue Aces squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Blue Aces record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Cooper falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Simon Kenton lost 10-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Oldham County (Buckner, KY)
