The East Rutherford Cavaliers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Western Brown Broncos to 4 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, East Rutherford moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A game on Tuesday, April 9. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-6.

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 30. Western Brown will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Elks come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN).
