Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Girard for a Northeast Eight Athletic challenge on Monday, April 1.

With the loss, Nordonia falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD) to battle the Sailors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Sailors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
