The Hurricane Redskins softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles to 4 in the Redskins league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hurricane moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Redskins travel to Ripley (Ripley, WV) to clash with the Vikings in a Mountain State game on Wednesday, April 3. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-5.

In their next game, the Black Eagles clash with the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State game, on Tuesday, April 2. South Charleston will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Red Dragons come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
