The crowd at Friday's league match between the Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) and the visiting Parkers Chapel Trojans (El Dorado, AR), saw Junction City's softball squad nip Parkers Chapel by a count of 10-9.

The Dragons now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Smackover for a non-league match on Monday, April 1. Junction City will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Parkers Chapel falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hampton (Hampton, AR) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 8 match on Monday, April 1. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-3. Hampton won 11-1 in their recent league match against Lafayette County (Stamps, AR)
