The Mt. Zion Braves softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting MacArthur Generals to 1 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Mt. Zion improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Braves host Effingham (Effingham, IL) to clash with the Flaming Hearts in a Apollo game on Saturday, March 30. The Flaming Hearts come into the game with a record of 3-2. Effingham won 17-3 in their recent non-league game against Cumberland (Toledo, IL)
