The Parkersburg South Patriots routed the visiting Williamstown Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 16-8 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Poland Seminary notched a victory over McKinley (Niles, OH), 19-2, in a league battle.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Belpre for a non-league battle on Monday, April 1. Williamstown will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
