In Saturday's non-league bout, the Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) baseball squad edged the visiting Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Marauders encounter the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Marcus will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.

The Bearcats (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-15 record. In their last bout, Fossil Ridge was nudged by Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 6-4, in a league bout.
