The Freeport Pretzels baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host Alleman Pioneers to 15 in the Pretzels non-league win on Saturday.

The Pretzels now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Warren/Stockton for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Freeport will play a Warhawks team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Warhawks record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Alleman drops to 6-2 on the year. The Pioneers host Moline (Moline, IL) to play the Maroons in a Western Big Six test on Monday, March 31. The Maroons go into the test with a record of 4-2. Moline won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Highland, IL)
