Illinois High School Baseball - Mercer County nudged by Amboy

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) baseball squad edged the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL), by a tally of 6-5.

Next up, the Clippers encounter the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Amboy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL).
