The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), saw Archbishop Moeller's baseball team gain a win over Lakota East by a tally of 9-7.

The Fighting Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ryle (Union, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Ryle held off Scott (Covington, KY), 8-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thunderhawks face the Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH) in a Greater Miami battle, on Monday, March 31. Lakota East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Little Miami (Morrow, OH).
