The Woodlawn Bears baseball squad (Rison, AR), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR)
With the triumph, Ashdown moves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to confront the Knights in a 3A Region 7 contest on Monday, March 31. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-3.
The Bears now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a 2A Region 8 contest on Monday, March 31. Woodlawn will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-6 league loss to Poyen (Poyen, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-10.
