California High School Baseball - Royal nipped by El Segundo

March 29, 2025: El Segundo, CA 90245

El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA), 7-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, El Segundo advances its record to 11-2 on the season. The Eagles host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to battle the Wolves in a Pioneer match on Wednesday, April 2. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 10-5. Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Pioneer (Whittier, CA)

The Highlanders now have a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Marino for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. Royal will battle a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA). The Titans record now stands at 12-3.
