In Saturday's non-league bout, the Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lindsay Leopards (Lindsay, OK), by a tally of 9-1.
Next up, the Owls encounter the Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Monday, March 31. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 2-15 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Comanche (Comanche, OK).
The Leopards (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Kingston (Kingston, OK). The Redskins enter the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Kingston overcame Stonewall (Stonewall, OK), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
