In Saturday's non-league game, the host Vinita Hornets baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Glenpool Warriors.

The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Wagoner was tipped by Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK), 13-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Warriors play the North Rock Creek Cougars (Shawnee, OK) in a 4A District 8 game, on Monday, March 31. Glenpool will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Chandler (Chandler, OK).
