The Greenfield Yellowjackets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Tremont Eagles to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake County for a 1A District 14 test on Monday, March 31. Greenfield will play a Falcons team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-12.

With the defeat, Tremont drops to 1-12 on the year. The Eagles host Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to play the Lions in a 1A Region 1 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-13. Biggersville lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Strayhorn (Sarah, MS)
