The St. Mark's Spartans baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Lake Forest Spartans to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
The Spartans now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Archmere Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. St. Mark's will play a Auks team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Auks record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Lake Forest drops to 0-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Seaford (Seaford, DE) to play the Bluejays in a Henlopen South test on Tuesday, April 1. The Bluejays go into the test with a record of 2-1. Seaford lost 9-8 in their recent league test against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE)
