The Wilmington Greyhounds baseball squad (New Wilmington, PA), was edged 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA)

With the triumph, Laurel moves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to confront the Lancers in a WPIAL 2A 2 contest on Monday, March 31. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Neshannock won 16-15 in their recent non-league contest against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA)

The Greyhounds now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Middlesex for a District 10 Region 1 contest on Monday, March 31. Wilmington will confront a Big Reds squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA). The Big Reds record now stands at 4-1.
